Command R is Cohere's cost-effective model for RAG and tool-use workloads. With a 128K context window, it brings enterprise search capabilities to budget-conscious teams. Cohere deprecated the command-r alias on September 15, 2025, so new builds should start from the Command A family instead. The rate shown here is the Command R 03-2024 line Cohere still publishes, $0.50 input and $1.50 output per million tokens; the pricing page carries no Command R 08-2024 row and no Command A+ token rate at all.
