Gemini 2.5 Pro

Gemini 2.5 Pro is the oldest Pro-tier Gemini still on Google's price list, at $1.25 per million input tokens and $10 output with higher rates above 200,000 tokens, and a 1 million token context window with vision, tool use, and code. It is no longer the model to start a new project on. On September 18, 2026 Google limited access to the Gemini 2.5 models to users who have actively used them in the past; Google says the models are not deprecated and will keep being served until further notice, and it points new projects at Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite or Gemini 3.8 Flash. The newest Pro model on Google's pricing page is Gemini 3.1 Pro Preview at $2 and $12. Treat this page as a reference for existing deployments rather than a recommendation.
