Unbiased

Unbiased is the AI platform built by Circuit & Chisel, a New York company founded in 2025 by CEO Louis Amira and CTO David Noel-Romas, both former Stripe crypto and AI leads, which raised $19.2 million in September 2025 led by Primary Venture Partners and ParaFi Capital to build ATXP, a payments protocol for agents. Its model is Pareto, and its thesis is that you should not have to pick a lab. Pareto is a blended model: several frontier and open-source models run against each request and the best answer is kept, behind a single model string and a single bill, and it does not switch models mid-conversation so prompt caching still works. The company introduced it the hard way. On September 16, 2026 an unattributed listing called Union Alpha appeared on OpenRouter under the provider name Stealth, free, multimodal, 262K context, and within a day demand had pushed throughput to unusable levels; capacity was tripled overnight and still fell short. At 23:24 UTC on September 17 the stealth listing lost its endpoints and the model relaunched under its real name at $2.50 per million input tokens, $0.25 cached, and $7.50 output, with a 262,144 token context window, 131,072 max output, text and image input, and tool calling. What Unbiased does not publish is as notable as what it does: no parameter count, no architecture, and no list of which models sit in the blend, which means the usual comparison work does not apply and you are buying an outcome rather than a model. No independent evaluator has scored it, and Artificial Analysis has no entry, so the vendor table is currently the only table. Access runs through the Unbiased platform and through OpenRouter, Cloudflare AI Gateway, Kilo Gateway, and NanoGPT at the same rate.
